World AIDS Day 2006
WORLD (Women Organized to Respond to Life-Threatening Diseases) marched and held a rally in front of Oakland City Hall on Friday, December 1, World AIDS Day. They are a beautiful group of women, of all ages, living with AIDS or in support of women with AIDS (www.womenhiv.org). Unfortunately, I did not catch everyone's name or position.
This older woman with AIDS charmed everyone when she spoke:
Rodger Brooks
Maura, Nena Bridges

what beautiful photos - they truly depict the diversity of age, gender, and race that AIDS effects.
Thank you, "paixful" -- They are a wonderful group. It felt very loving.
