there is a horse that looks amazingly like these at the modern in fort worth....have to go look at my pics and compare!

I really like how these horses are put on display right in public. I think they look a lot nicer than in a gallery. It's like the horses just wandered into downtown. Each Butterfield horse is quite unique. These are wonderful images, and thank you for posting this.

I think that the three horses on the right in the grass outside the Portland, Oregon airport are Butterfield's, too. The first that inspired me to build a driftwood horse the year. I was confused and thought they were done by Jansch, but Ms. Jansch corrected me and gave Deborah Butterfield the credit.
