EASTER LADY on West Portal Avenue

I am always intrigued by the fantasy window displays of Alexander Collections, 309 West Portal Avenue, San Francisco.
When I saw this one, the light was such that reflections made it impossible to photograph through the front window...

Of course, click on the photo if you want to see the elaborate clothes more easily....

I enjoy good window displays too, typically up and down Valencia, 24th, Mission. Some of the best are those that are less studied and just sort of happen.

I sat next to the maker of the hats in Alexander Collections on Muni one evening. She said her name was Alexandria. We talked because I admired her hat and necklace. Very wonderful interesting SF woman with great creative talent.
